ORGANIZATION OF THE WEBSITE
Since 2012, Pick Up Performance Co(s) and David Gordon have investigated an accurate archival system for his performance work. David Gordon’s complete archive will soon be housed and accessible at the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts Jerome Robbins Dance Division.

NAVIGATION BY DECADE
David Gordon's ARCHIVEOGRAPHY can be navigated through browsing the decade navigation menu at the top of the site.

ARCHIVEOGRAPHY SCRIPTS: scripts written by David Gordon for ARCHIVEOGRAPHY - as opposed to his scripts for live or filmed performance. ARCHIVEOGRAPHY scripts contain pictures, programs, scores, texts, and new storytelling about Gordon's life and work. These are accessible on the applicable decade pages, on associated work pages, and as a complete list on the DAVID WRITES ABOUT HIMSELF page.

DECADE PAGES: to bring up a decade page click on a decade in the navigation menu at the top of the site. Each decade page contains links to that decade’s ARCHIVEOGRAPHY script, a link to that decade's photos in the photo album, and a list of David Gordon works created in that decade.

WORK PAGES: to bring up a work page click on a work from the list on a decade page or the title of a work in an ARCHIVEOGRAPHY script. Each work page has, when available, links to ARCHIVEOGRAPHY scripts, a flyer for the work, performance texts, reviews, a list of related David Gordon works, and a chronological performance listing with links to programs and videos.
